When you sign in with GitHub, we collect your GitHub username, email address, and OAuth access token. We use this information solely to connect to your GitHub repositories and generate reports. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide the ShipReport service — specifically to read your merged pull requests, generate AI summaries, and send reports to your clients. Your GitHub token is used only to access repositories you have explicitly connected.
3. Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider. Reports, client information, and account data are stored in encrypted databases. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
4. Third party services
ShipReport uses the following third party services: GitHub (authentication and repository access), Supabase (database storage), Anthropic Claude (AI report generation), Resend (email delivery), and Lemon Squeezy (payment processing). Each of these services has their own privacy policy.
5. Client data
When you send a report to a client, we store their name and email address to enable future report sending. This data is associated only with your account and is never shared with other ShipReport users or third parties.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — specifically authentication session cookies required for you to stay logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for more details.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights or ask any questions about your data, contact us at visualswithnyxel@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ShipReport after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
